2. In the overload and under resourcing, the stress mechanism is triggered and the brain shifts into survival response (default response - fight, flight, freeze, or fawn) to help you get through.
3. The key in healing is to come out of the survival response that was intended for short term use but has now been running long term, calling the shots emotionally, mentally, and physically.
